Does your teen need
They make hasty, poorly-considered decisions and need to have better judgment.
They’re being bullied at school – or they’re the one doing the bullying. They don’t get enough exercise or need to lose weight.
They have low self-esteem and seem to be down all the time. They give up when things get difficult and fail to meet their goals.
Raising a teenager requires persistence & patience
It can test your sanity even at the best of times. Yet, you want the best for your teenager. You want them to have the tools they need to succeed now and later in life – and you’d like that to happen without having to pull out all your hair in the process. Getting them to do anything you want them to do can feel utterly impossible, and you’re not sure where to start.
Studying martial arts helps kids learn how to overcome their problems and learn important lessons – the kind of lessons that will follow them to your home, to the classroom, and for the rest of their lives.
your teen will grow with every class!
Teenagers who study martial arts learn the benefits of self-control and discipline with every lesson. Our classes emphasize core values like discipline, respect, and persistence. Students learn that the way they treat others – in and out of the dojo – reflects on them as people and affects their ability to achieve their goals.
We brought our child to this club when he was five years old. I knew our child required guidance with respect to getting strong - physically and mentally. Mr. Prieto and his associates trained him and over the last eight plus years we could see our child flourishing in confidence, manners and strength. Putting our son in this club is one of the best decisions we have made that helps him push boundaries. Confucius once said it does not matter how fast you move as long as you do not stop. Arts like this require long term dedication and as long as this is understood, magic happens.
I started Karate at the age of 18 in college in Moo Duk Kwan Tang So Do, One of the bases of Chuck
Norris’s System. I wanted my kid, Max to have a good off campus P.E. Program. This is that, plus WAY more! Then our whole family became involved. Now we practice a lot of different arts together including; Krav Maga And Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which is AWESOME! Mr. Prieto and Austin are the BEST!
I started Karate here when I was 7 as just a means of exercise, but it developed into a hobby and a love of mine. Mr. Prieto and Mr. Austin are extremely knowledgeable instructors and have a great sense of humor. They inspired me to push myself and I became a second degree black belt. Learning karate at a young age has taught me a lot about respect and self confidence that assisted me through my own personal growth. I’m so glad that I was able to grow up and build many friendships through this program.
My son has been here for almost 5 years. Mr. Prieto and Mr Austin are the best instructors you can get. We have been very happy here.
The term “karate family” gets used her a lot. That is really what it becomes. Everyone becomes close and enjoy watching the success of each student in the school.
My 4yr old instantly loved this place and connected well with Mr. Prieto. Could already see more self confidence and discipline within our 3day trial! We're going on 2 months and he is ecstatic to continue going and growing to reach black belt in the future!
